Therapy Services with Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults

Our team of specialists works collaboratively with families and patients to help recognize their strengths and face their challenges. The work often involves direct communication with a child’s schools, pediatricians, clinical therapy providers (i.e., speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist, social skills educators) and others to coordinate care. In her work with children and teenagers, there is a strong emphasis on also working with the family and there is regular communication and feedback sessions to generalize positive outcomes. Our team of specialists has expertise in working with children, adolescents, and young adults across the spectrum of varying abilities, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression. Our team of specialists has extensive training and experience working with children, adults, and families across a range of issues, including, but not limited to developmental differences, adjustment issues, emotional and behavioral challenges, trauma, and bereavement. Treatment is offered both individually and within the context of family, and ecological systems (i.e., school, home, caregivers, family members, work) for a full range of topics including:

A variety of approaches includes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, play therapy, insight and solution-oriented approaches. Our team of Specialists will assess and explore with the family what kinds of services and approaches fit best.
