Madeline Gottlob, B.A.

Office Clinical Administrator & Research Writer

Madeline is the Clinical Office Administrator and Research Writer at Dr. Robokos’ practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.

Madeline has a strong background in both clinical and research settings. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she gained experience in a hospital environment, serving as a liaison between pathologists, lab technicians, and clinical teams to ensure efficient and accurate processing of diagnostic results. As a Research Assistant in the University of Michigan’s Emotion and Self-Control Lab, she contributed to studies examining the mechanisms of emotion regulation, conducting participant intake sessions, maintaining physiological data, and performing literature reviews. She has also provided direct care and support to children and families as a Behavior Technician, where she implemented individualized behavioral therapy programs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Her experiences in research, clinical practice, and education have shaped her particular curiosity surrounding emotion regulation in childhood and its impact on mental health across the lifespan. Furthermore, she is interested in the therapeutic use of creative arts and how creative expression may nurture emotional resilience. She is passionate about integrating evidence-based practices with such creative approaches to promote lasting emotional well-being in children and adolescents. She plans to continue her education at the graduate level with the goal of building a career in clinical mental health counseling.
